301 Redirect

An HTTP status code known as a 301 redirect, or “Moved Permanently” redirect, notifies browsers and search engines that a page has been permanently redirected to a new URL. When a web page is no longer at its original URL, site developers and SEO experts should utilize this best practice.

302 Redirect

An HTTP status code that indicates a temporary relocation of a webpage or resource is called a 302 redirect. A 301 redirect, which denotes a permanent relocation, is not the same as this. 

307 Redirect

One kind of temporary redirect is a 307 redirect. The URL that someone is requesting has momentarily changed to a new URI (User Resource Identifier), but it will soon return to its former address, according to this HTTP response status code.

403 Error

When a web server blocks your access to a certain page or resource, you get a 403 Forbidden Error. The HTTP status code 403 indicates this mistake. Usually, it indicates that although the server recognizes your request, it will not approve it.

404 Error

Page Not Found

An HTTP status code known as a 404 error indicates that the page you were attempting to access on a website was not available on the server. A “Page Not Found” message is usually displayed when a user or search engine tries to access a webpage that is not available.

4xx Status Codes

The HTTP response status codes that denote client-side failures include the 4xx status codes. They indicate that there is a problem with the client’s input, which prevents the server from processing the request. An example of this would be a web browser.

500 Internal Server Error

The generic HTTP status code 500 Internal Server Error indicates that the server was unable to complete the request due to an unforeseen circumstance.

502 Bad Gateway

An HTTP status code known as a 502 Bad Gateway error signifies that a server on the internet has received an incorrect response from another server.

503 Error

The 503 Service Unavailable error is an HTTP status code that means a website’s server is not available right now. Most of the time, it occurs because the server is too busy or maintenance is being performed on it.

Ahrefs is a comprehensive SEO tool that can be used to improve the search engine optimization (SEO) of your website. Ahrefs’s extensive feature set enables you to pinpoint and examine important factors that affect the visibility of your website.

Ahrefs Bot

AhrefsBot is the crawler of Ahrefs. They index up-to-date, precise data on websites, their content, and their interlinks. This information is very helpful and may be used in a variety of ways.

AI-Generated Content

Any kind of information produced by artificial intelligence models, including text, images, videos, and audio, is referred to as AI-generated content. These models are the outcome of algorithms that have been trained on huge datasets, allowing them to generate new material that closely resembles the features of the training data.

Alt Text

The alternate or “alt” property of content is rendered in its place when the primary kind of information is not presented. If the picture cannot be shown for whatever reason, the alt text description will be displayed.

Average Position

The Average Position displays the average position of your website for a given term in search results. A higher position is indicated by a lower number. The ranking positions of your website for every search query and impression are averaged to determine it.

Bing

Bing is a  Microsoft Search engines. MSN Search and Windows Live Search were its previous names. What Microsoft refers to as a “decision engine” is Bing’s attempt to understand search terms and provide users with better search results than a standard search engine, so assisting them in making better decisions.

Bingbot

Microsoft’s Bingbot is a web crawler that finds, indexes and ranks webpages for the Bing search engine. To refresh Bing’s index and guarantee speedy and pertinent search results, it searches the internet.

Black Hat SEO

The term “black hat” SEO describes strategies and procedures that go outside search engine guidelines in an attempt to raise a page’s ranking. Keyword stuffing, the use of private link networks, content duplication, devious redirection, and cloaking are examples of Black Hat SEO.

Google defines a canonical URL as the URL of the most representative page within a collection of duplicate pages. For instance, Google selects one URL as canonical if you have two for the same page (for instance, example.com? SEO=524 and example.com/seo/524).

Cascading Style Sheet (CSS)

You can use clickthrough rate (CTR) to measure the effectiveness of your listings, websites, advertising, and keywords. CTR is calculated by dividing the number of clicks on your advertisement by the number of times it is displayed: clicks ÷ impressions = CTR. For instance, your CTR would be 5% if you got 100 impressions and 5 clicks.
